We ask you to respect these arrival dates, as the group activities we offer to newcomers are organised accordingly.

 

You need to present a negative typhoid test before your arrival.

Welcome at 11 with tour of the site, installation and signature of the contract

During the days

 

The days are dedicated to the development of the local project and its sectors of activity. That’s means is the voluntary time.

 

From 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday inclusive. You have saturday and sunday free. The temazcals and ceremonies take place at the weekend.

 

For volunteers the reciprocation is 25 hours per week and for other people it depends on their category of monetary reciprocation or their level of commitment in terms of responsibility.

Monday: maintenance

Wednesday: agriculture

Thursday: food processing & kitchen help

Friday: agriculture & food processing

 

Late afternoons and evenings

 

These are dedicated to the process of discovering the path: singing circle, ritual with Mama Coca and Tobacco, readings and discussions, ceremonies.

 

From 6 p.m. until 8 pm or 10 p.m. depending on the activity. 

 

First week

 

Monday: chanting circle – 6pm

Tuesday: meeting with the supervisors of the project and of the process of discovering the path of life, for a first ritual with Mama Coca and Tobacco – 3pm 

Wednesday: chanting circle & reading of the Bhagavat-gitā  – 6pm 

Thursday: ritual with Mama Coca and Tabac, readings and discussions – 19:30pm 

Friday: chanting circle – 6pm 

Saturday: Temazcal ritual – 9am

Sunday: free day with posibility to spend the day in the tranquillity of the upper part of the community, called Huayallquen.

 

Second week

 

Monday: chanting circle – 6pm

Tuesday: ritual with Mama Coca and Tabac, readings and discussions – 19:30pm

Wednesday: chanting circle & reading of the Bhagavat-gitā  – 6pm 

Thursday: ritual with Mama Coca and Tabac, readings and discussions – 19:30pm 

Friday: drive up to Huayallquen & instalation for the week-end – 5pm

Saturday: quiet day and ceremony at night – since 10:30pm

Sunday: Rest after the ceremony and personal accompaniment if necessary. The collective debriefing will take place in the following days. Everyone is free to sleep in Huayallquen or to walk back down to Choquepata to sleep.

 

The following weeks

 

People can stay longer if they wish to continue to get involved in community projects.

 

The same goes for the process of discovering the path, continuing the activities that correspond to it.
